Thanks D.A.! I always try to envision my settings as characters unto themselves. I had a lot of fun with the tunnel and the darkness, and got more abstract than I usually do. Very glad to hear I pulled it off!
Thanks! I feel a little like a magician giving away the trick here, but the combination I was going for was Siege of Malta but set in the Atlas Mountains. I actually had a whole section where Tenuto nerded out about the different kinds of rocks, but I took it out for length.
Lol, don't reveal if you don't want to! I like guessing, and thinking about it. You got a real strong style, my friend. I love the adaption of history to fantasy.
Wow, such character development in so short a time (it felt short because I loved it). You are a master at this trick.
Thank you so much Keith! I was actually worried that characterization was lacking in this one, so I’m very happy to hear this!
Great story. I loved the anthropomorphic descriptions of the tunnel dark, and that I absolutely did not see Franico's arc ending the way it did.

My god, man! What a journey! Kudos
Thanks Justin! I’m glad you liked it!
Man, Ian. You got hell'a good story tellings.
WWI?
